Q: Do I have to be a member to see prices?

Q: Is FBN a co-op?
No, FBN isn't a co-op — but the idea is similar. We're a member-driven network of 120,000+ farmers.

In most cases, yes. The active ingredient in a generic has to meet the same EPA registration standards as the branded version. Where products can differ is in the co-formulants — the surfactants and adjuvants that affect mixing, penetration, and application.
That’s why FBN runs lab tests and field trials on every generic we carry to make sure performance matches or beats the branded equivalent. Generics aren’t always 100% identical, though — concentrations and approved uses can vary, so always check the label before you switch.
